Welcome to the Artist Apprenticeship Project everyone! This blog is our spot for communicating with one another, sharing ideas and thoughts on the project, and keeping in touch between project days. Gallery staff will be posting reminders, links, images and things to think about. We would like each of you to check here at least weekly and post your own links and developing thoughts about the project. This blog is for all of us, and it's not currently accessible to others outside our project, although we may decide to open it up as the project proceeds.

The Artist Apprenticeship Project at Burnaby Art Gallery is a senior secondary student career program. For 2008 we are collaborating with local artist Jay Johnson and the Vancouver Fraser Port Authority. A temporary, site specific installation explores the overlap between community and industry at the Vancouver Port Authority. Project completion coincides with BC Youth Week.
